Hurricane Irene is “God’s” message to Washington

Posted by Las Vegas Democrats

THIS IS SATIRE!

It is clear to the public that a higher power is trying to tell us something about what’s going on in our country and the world.   That higher power can be whatever you want to call it: The Universe, God, Allah, nature, or fill in the blank here______.   With back to back natural disasters happening within a week of each other on the east coast of the  United States, there is a clear message being sent to Washington:

Barack Obama should be a one term president.

It’s so obvious that an earthquake in Virginia was a glaring indication that spending cuts were needed before Eric Cantor agreed to the government spending any money helping those victim of God’s decree.   Why else would the epicenter be in his district?  It’s like the universe is trying to tell all of those stubborn liberals who want to protect its citizen through proper environmental  and financial regulations that they are asking WAY too much.  Liberals should just let corporations do the right thing and police themselves, because they always do the right thing for the public.   After all, corporations are the only entity cable of creating jobs and saving us from this democrat induced wicked economy compounded by all those pesky rules.  Why do banks need to have money to cover their loans?  Why does a credit card company have to clearly display to their customers what they will actually be paying with their minimum payment? I’m telling you we are on the verge of fascism in this country.

Only a short week after that jarring earthquake, another sign batters us across the face with political implications.  Hurricane Irene swept up  the east coast just to make sure that Democrats got the message:  Give up, stop trying, and just accept the fact that a republican is going to defeat Barack Obama.  And while we are at it, let’s get rid of the National Weather Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and all of those “scientists” that go on and on about climate change. The government doesn’t need to warn its citizens about potential danger, let them all figure it out for themselves!  After all, the government has provided such a fantastic education for all of the people living here which enabled them to get great high paying private sector jobs. These people have enough money to do their own hurricane, flood and tsunami warning systems….shall I go on?

In closing, I hope that everyone who reads this will really think long and hard about who you vote for.  If these natural disasters aren’t a more vivid mandate that Democrats should stop trying to spend so much money trying to “protect” ordinary people than I don’t know what is.
